Hitches
DRD Distributing offers trailer hitches manufactured by Draw-Tite,
Hidden Hitch and Reese. We will be happy to provide you with guidance in
selecting the proper hitch for your vehicle based on what you will be
towing.
Hitches are available in different “classes”, depending on your vehicle and what you will be towing:
- Class I Hitches are for towing up to 2,000 pounds including the weight of the trailer.
- Class II Hitches are for towing up to 3,500 pounds including the weight of the trailer.
- Class III Hitches are for towing up to 5,000 pounds including the weight of the trailer.
Heavier hitches with increased towing capacity are also available, along
with weight distribution kits, electronic brake controls,
receiver/drawbar extensions, and receivers/drawbars with various height
drops.
For some vehicles, not all Classes of hitches are available or
recommended. For example, there is no Class III hitch available for a
2011 Ford Focus. This is because of the towing limitations of the
vehicle itself.
We sell trailer hitches, receivers/drawbars and the necessary wiring and
accessories for the die-hard “do-it-your-selfer”, but we also offer
hitch installation packages. We encourage you to consider allowing us to
install your trailer hitch for you – DRD has been in the hitch business
for many years, and we have the tools and knowledge to ensure that your
hitch package and all its components are installed correctly to provide
you with a safe and enjoyable towing experience.

Trailers
DRD Distributing has a variety of trailers for both personal and commercial use. We sell dump trailers, equipment haulers, utility trailers, car haulers, cargo trailers and contractor trailers. And if you’re looking for something that is “just right for you”, we are happy to quote on custom built trailers.
DRD prides itself on selling quality products, and our trailers are no exception. All of the makes we carry are built to last, whether you load up your trailer and use it every day, or just use a trailer for the odd run to the dump. We also service trailers and perform Safety Inspections, and all of our new trailers are inspected before delivery to the customer.
We can also provide horse trailers, although we do not stock them. In
prime towing season (April-September), our trailer inventory grows
substantially and is replenished weekly.
